Ultrasonic Flaw Detection Testing is a non-destructive testing with Ultrasonic waves to detect the minor inner flaws in rails and welds and is carried out as per provisions of “Manual for Ultrasonic Testing of Rails and Welds-2012”. In trolley inspection, physical condition of track, its components and other track-side railway infrastructure are inspected manually.

The deadly accident involving the Patna-Indore Express is believed to have occurred as a result of ignoring repeated danger alerts raised by the loco pilot concerned. According to the driver, senior officials were allegedly warned of the danger early, but they asked the driver to carry on and bring the train to Kanpur.

Brief History:
In Indian Railway the first uniform committee was formed in 1957. The committee recommended Jacket's Battle Dress( Dress worn by army personnel) for loco running staff. From day one we have been protesting against the unsuitability of this type of uniform.

21st All India Biennial Conference of All India Loco Running Staff Association was held successfully at “com. Joginder Singh Nagar (Desh Bhakth Yadgar Complex, Jalandhar) on 18 & 19 November 2016. The conference was started with flag hoisting by com. L. Mony, President of All India Loco Running Staff Association and followed by garlanding of Martyrs’ column by leaders and delegates. Before flag hoisting EPTA/DGG placed a revolutionary song.
