Narendra Modi Cabinet meeting Live Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting of his Cabinet today. The decisions taken during the meet were announced by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. The meeting comes in the wake of rising fears of economic depression in the country. In the last Cabinet meet, the Centre had announced a number of decisions, including pacts with Morocco and Armenia, doubling tax-free gratuity to Rs 20 lakh, hiving off BSNL mobile towers into separate company, hiking of DA to 5 pct for 1.1 cr employees and pensioners, and doubling of Daund-Manmad railway line.
