Various issues including the introduction of new trains and new railway routes in the region, Hubli-Ankola new line project, issue of vacant posts in the railway zone, proposed railway underbridges and overbridges, were discussed at length, the release said.
Mr. Joshi said that issues like introduction of new trains from Hubli to various places, Hubli-Mumbai weekly express, Yashwanthpur-Chandigarh Sampark Kranti Express, further development of railway stations at Hubli and Dharwad and other issues were also discussed during the meeting.
