Agra: A loco-pilot lost his hand while trying to disembark from a moving train at Mathura junction on Wednesday morning. Identified as Yadram Meena, he was taken to the railway hospital by officials. Doctors have stated his condition to be critical.

Station officer, railway protection force, Mathura, Saytendar Yadav said, "Around 5:45 am on Wednesday, the loco pilot tried to jump off from the Shaan-E-Bhopal SF Express at Mathura but lost balance and hit a pole at the end of the platform. The train does have a halt in Mathura station."

Meena took the GT Express regularly to reach Mathura but had mistakenly boarded the Shaan-E-Bhopal on Wednesday, police said.
