Police exposed Hi-Tech Mass Copying racket of Railway Recruitment Board
Exam and arrested 30 persons including 10 candidates. They also seized
modern technological gadgets like Laptop, SIM cards etc. Group-D
examination of Railway Recruitment Board was held yesterday in 6
divisions which includes Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Guntur, Vijaywada and
Nanded. The candidates were busy writing the examinations when Special
Operation Team of Cyberabad Police raided Maula Ali Railway Quarter,
Salarjung Water pump located at Upperguda and arrested 20 persons.
Additional DCP, Mr. V. Ramachandra Reddy told that the arrested persons
were engaged in Hi-Tech mass copying. The Kingpin of this racket is
Ramchander an employee of Railway Department. Rs. 5 lakh was collected
per head from the candidates and they were supplied the latest
electronic gadgets. Ramchander constituted a team consisting of Ilyas,
Varun, Gridhar, Venkatesh, Srinath and 4 other members. They were
helping the candidates by preparing answers on Laptop and transferring
them through SIM card to the candidates. After busting this racket,
Police raided Dilsukhnagar Public School, Chaitanyapuri, Sri Chaitanya
Junior Kala Shala, Archana Complex, Gowtham Model School,
Tirumullgherry, DAV Public School, Niredmet, Samaritian school, St. Rita
High School, Miyapur and arrested 10 candidates who were engaged in
High Tech mass copying. Special Operation Team seized 8 SIM cards, two
laptops, Bluetooth instruments, 27 mobile phones, calculator and 17
motor cycles. It is reported that in all, 9.17 lakh candidates had
registered for Group – D examination but only 3.91 lakh candidates
appeared. This examination was conduction in A.P. , Telangana and
Maharashtra at 182 centers.
