Railway workers seek removal of CCTV

BHUBANESWAR:
The employees of carriage repair workshop of East Coast Railway (ECoR) at
Mancheswar here moved Union railway ministerPawan Kumar
Bansal complaining
that their demand of removing close circuit television (CCTV) from the workshop
was yet to be fulfilled.
General secretary of EcoR Shramik CongressRamesh Chandra
Sahoo, the body representing the employees of the carriage repair
workshop, met the minister and apprised him of the difficulties faced by around
1,600 employees.
The employees alleged that the railway authorities are yet to remove the CCTV
from the workshop despite the railway authorities promising to remove them on
the last day of the protest launched by the employees from December 24 to
January 1.
