Railways to provide all necessary facilities from limited resources: Pawan Kumar Bansal

SIDDHARTNAGAR: The Railways facing difficulties in view of passenger fares not being increased but the ministry is putting its level best to provide all the necessary facilities to the passengers from its limited resources, as announced by Union Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal.


While addressing a programme at the Badhni railway station near Indo-Nepal border here, Union Railways Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal said, “despite limited resources, Railways was trying to provide all necessary facilities to the passengers.”

The Railways was facing difficulties in running the network as passenger fares have not been increased. 
The three stations in Allahabad were being given a facelift in view of the Maha Kumbh Mela to be held there from January next year.

The minister would consider over the extension of the network from Badhni to Nepal and running a direct train from here to Delhi.
