Dear Comrades.

The sustained and relentless struggles of AILRSA can be the only EXAMPLE if anyone wants to summarize the GREAT QUOTE of the Great Saint VIVEKANANDA above in the murky FEDERATIONS TRADE (R) UNION history of Indian Railways. The Govt. of India that had rejected our demands placed before them during 2011 has reconsidered and has now referred our demands to National Industrial Tribunal vide Ministry of Labour Lr.No.L-41011/128/2010/[IR-(B-1)] dated 27/01/2012. Thus the Government of India (Ministry of Labour) under Section 7 B of Industrial Dispute Act 1947 has formed a National Tribunal with head quarters at Mumbai and appointed Justice Shri.Gauri Shankar Sarraf as Presiding officer duly referring the demands of AILRSA to National Industrial Tribunal (NIT).

TAKE NOTE:

In the same letter the Ministry of Labour has advised the NIT to submit their report WITHIN THREE MONTHS.

Whether the demand of the Union, All India  Loco Running Staff Association for (1) Grant of Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-, Rs.4200/-Rs.4800/- and Rs.5400/- to Assistant Loco Pilots, Loco Pilots(Shunting), Loco Pilots (Goods) , Loco Pilots (Passenger) and Loco Pilots (Mail) respectively (2) Determining the rate of Kilometer Allowance based on RAC 1981 formula (3) Grant of ODS allowance to all cadre of Loco Running Staff and (4) Revision of HOER, is it legal and justified? To what relief the union is entitled?
