PATNA: A train which went missing from one railway division in Bihar
was finally traced Thursday after 17 long days — from another division,
senior officials said.

Thousands of commuters were again stranded on Tuesday as a technical
snag hit Delhi Metro's Blue Line causing the trains to run slow and halt
for several minutes at many stations resulting in overcrowding. Long
queues were seen outside every metro station on the entire stretch
between Dwarka-Noida/Vaishali routes.

New policy in offing to attract pvt investment in rail sector
New Delhi, Sep 2 (PTI) In a bid to tap private
investment, railways today said some new policies are in the
offing to attract funds as the government has simplified the
procedure to remove hurdles in doing business with investors.
"We are framing new policies to attract private
investment and it will be publicised soon," Minister of State
for Railway Manoj Sinha said at a seminar here.
