A day after a section of women employees barged into the office of the Chief Commercial Manager (CCM) at Southern Railway headquarters, members of many trade unions came openly in support of the railway administration.
Move flayed
A pamphlet distributed among employees said they condemned the moves by a section of employees to implicate Ajeet Saxena, the CCM, to stall the periodical transfer of ticket-checking staff.
The pamphlet had the names of various employees’ unions, including SRES, DREU, AISC/ST REA and AIOBC REA.
On Tuesday, a group of women employees barged into his office, insisting on discussing certain crucial issues.
Slogans raised
However, the employees raised slogans and created a ruckus, sources said, following which a case was registered by Government Railway Police (GRP) acting on a complaint from the officer.
On Wednesday, GRP sources said the case would be transferred to Flower Bazaar police station.
