To,
The Chairman, Railway Board, Rail Bhawan, New Delhi
Sir,
Ref: - CWC meeting of the Association is held at New Delhi on 29th, 30th May 2011.
The CWC meeting was held on 29th, 30th of May 2011 in New Delhi resolved as followed: -
1. On our long pending demand: - The CWC meeting expressed its serious un-satisfaction, resentment and disappointment for not resolving long pending grievances of up-gradation of GP of ALP, LP (Shunting), LP (Pass) and LP (Mail) along with reckoning the rate of Kilometer-age based on RAC 80 formula, its date of effect, onerous duty allowance etc. the justification of our grievances are again is enclosed herewith for ready reference please.
Although it is always being maintained that all our demands are under active consideration by different committees at Railway Board level and we are asked to wait for the final decision and we have been patiently waiting for decision since last 2 year’s now the Loco Running Staff loosing their patience as such the meeting resolved to go for working in fast program, if the grievances are not resolved by the end of July 2011. The CWC further resolved to apprise the Railway Board that we are not in-favour of such an agitation which may affect the train services but we also expect a reciprocal treatment form Railway Board. Further the Association hopes that Railway Management will not force us to go for such an agitation and resolve the grievances by end of July 2011, so that a cordial Labour relation is maintained.
2. The CWC meeting hereby draw your attention on RBE no 53/2011, NOE (GP) 2005/2/87 of date 25.04.2011 in which an equivalent GP is given for Running Staff while being posted in non Running cadre and that should automatically be applied in the case of criteria of deciding status of pass and also for fixing the GP of a Running Staff cadre either being medically decategorised or for any other reason.
This CWC therefore requests Railway Board to issue a circular clarifying the position to avoid any chance for its misinterpretation at bottom levels or to avoid its interpretation in different way different at places.
Thanking you,
Your’s faithfully
(M. N. Prasad)
Secretary General
