Railway Board constituted Running Allowance Committee, than Fast Track Committee in recent past and the outcome of these committee is in the scrap basket. Now we hope the High Power Committee will consider the hard working conditions of Running Staff and the working Hours will be decided with consideration of the weekly working hours (40 only) of Ministerial staff who is working in a routine and having night in bed with out owing any risk of life. The HPC should also consider the Rest Hours required to Loco running staff as others are working only 5 days and getting more than 60 hrs rest every week, where as the Loco running staff need more rest than all other staff.
