Train Driver Holds Umbrella Over Control Panel To Save It From Leaking Roof

India is set to celebrate her 70th Independence Day in four days. But incidents such as these set us back 70 years.

How difficult is it to mend a leaky roof in the driver's compartment in a train? Apparently, very. Because how else would you explain this?

The driver was seen piloting the locomotive holding an umbrella in one hand. Does this ensure the safety of the crew and passengers of a train? Let's hope our Railways Minister can shed some light on it. 

The driver was more concerned about the control panel being damaged than about him getting wet. The speaker of the video illustrates the dismal state of the compartment, which has been leaking for years and is always covered with papers.

There is no space for the crew to even keep their bags! The government is apparently in deep slumber because nothing has been done to rectify the situation yet.
