VADODARA: The National Academy of Indian Railways(NAIR), Vadodara on Friday organised a national level seminar on 'Human resource management (HRM) in Indian Railways: Future Road Map using IT and Other Technologies.'

The one-day seminar was attended by senior functionaries of the Indian Railways, the Ministry of Human Resources and various other organisations as well as academicians, officers and experts from several other reputed institutions such as M/s Deloitte, TCS and CRIS.

The focus of the seminar was on the existing status and the future of human resource management in the Indian Railways and other organisations in India.

Opportunities and challenges while using various IT applications in the field of HRM were also discussed.


Success stories of railways and other organisations in the field of human resource management were also shared by the speakers, said Khemraj Meena, public relations officer of Vadodara railway division of Western Railways.
