Home to an extraordinary variety of climatic conditions, India can burn you with the sun in one minute and then shower massive rains at the same time, making travelling a terrible experience for many.

In such a situation, young mothers often find it remarkably discomforting to commute with their young kids in a train. Not only do they fight the condition, they also find the inability of 'ease'.

In order to help distraught mothers fight this situation, Indian Railways has launched Janani Sewa Scheme and here's what it means -

1. Under this scheme hot milk, hot water and baby food will be available at railway stations.

2/ Janani Sewa Scheme of IR Is to ensure availability of baby food, hot milk and hot water at Rly stations on payment basis.

2. It will available on all major Railway Stations. Availability of children’s Menu through e-catering scheme also being ensured.

Food items like french fries, noodles, burgers and meal combos through its e-catering services.
3. This menu will be available through e-catering for all trains passing NDLS, Lucknow, Jaipur, Ajmer, Howrah, Chennai Egmore, Pathankot Jn. and CSTM.

4. The scheme was designed to help mothers.
