BHOPAL: Divisional railway manager (DRM), Bhopal Alok Kumar has written a letter to DRM Jhansi, to take action against loco pilot D C Sharma for the Sridham express fiasco at Habibganj railway station early on Tuesday.
The train skipped the halt at Habibganj after it was given a through signal by mistake and was later forced to stop after it passed the platform.
The DRM stated in his letter the loco pilot should have stopped at the home signal and then confirmed about the stoppage, but he dis so only after home signal was crossed. Strict disciplinary action against the loco pilot and assistant loco pilot has been suggested. DRM in letter admitted the through signal (green) was given by mistake by the deputy station superintendent (DSS) SR Rajput.
