He demanded a bribe of Rs. 4 lakh and the complainant had paid Rs. 60,000 in the form of cheque, as an instalment in October 2015, which was encashed by the accused.

No positive response

Thereafter, as there was no positive response, the complainant and his father again approached him and he demanded the second instalment of Rs. 3.4 lakhs.

As the complainant was not in a position to pay the amount and doubting his intentions, lodged a complainant with the CBI, Visakhapatnam.
