suburban train coach A derailed on the slow line between Kalyan and Thakurli stations on Sunday, delaying CR services by 10-15 minutes. Slow trains from Dombivli to Kalyan were diverted to another track.The derailment coupled with a mega block inconvenienced commuters. Though CR has ordered an inquiry to ascertain the cause of the derailment that took place at 11.34am, officials blamed “sinking“ of tracks on a certain stretch. “This is based on our detailed spot probe,“ said CR general manager S K Sood. A detailed report will be submitted in the next few days. No one was injured in the mishap.
