Rajeev Bhargava takes charge as GM-SWR

Rajeev Bhargava has taken charge as General Manager of South Western Railway.
He took charge from A.K. Mital, who has been appointed as Member (Staff), Railway Board, New Delhi.
Bhargava is working as General Manager, Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), Yelhanka, Bangalore and General Manager, SWR post is an additional charge, apart from his original post of General Manager/Rail Wheel Factory(RWF), Yelhanka, Bangalore.
He joined Indian Railway Service of Civil Engineering in 1974 and during his service, Bhargava has held key posts like Additional Member(Works), Railway Board, New Delhi, Additional Director General of RDSO, Lucknow, Chief Administrative Officer(Construction), East Central Railway, Patna, Principal Chief Engineer, South Central Railway and Divisional Railway Manager, Jhansi Division. He was also Dean of Indian Railway Institute of Civil Engineering, Pune.
