Shri Ashok Kumar Mital Takes Over As Incharge General Manager, South Central Railway Shri Ashok Kumar Mital has taken over as the In-charge General Manager, South Central Railway today i.e., o­n 26th July, 2013, in addition to holding the post of General Manager, South Western Railway, Hubli. He succeeds Shri Devi Prasad Pande who has been posted as Member Traffic, Railway Board, New Delhi.              Born in 07th July, 1956, Shri Ashok Kumar Mital did his Bachelor’s Degree in  Engineering (Hons.). An Officer of 1976 batch of Indian Railways Service of Stores (IRSS), Shri Ashok Kumar Mitalworked o­n several important posts in Indian Railways.     He was Executive Director / Vigilance and Executive Director / Stores in Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, New Delhi.He also worked as Chief Materials Manager in Northern Railway.He was Divisional Railway Manager of Izzatnagar Division in North Eastern Railway; Controller of Stores in South Central Railway and Diesel Locomotive Works, Varanasi.Shri Ashok Kumar Mital has also undergone managerial training in USA and France.
