GM SWR LAUNCHES SWR’s “SAFETY POSTERS”

“JAGRUTHI – SAFETY MAGAZINE

Shri Ashok Kumar Mital, General Manager released the South Western Railway “SAFETY POSTERS’’ & “JAGRUTHI – SAFETY MAGAZINE” today (29-04-2013) at General Manager’s Conference Hall, Hubli in the presence of Shri Vikrant Kalra, Chief Safety Officer, Shri H.M. Dinesh, Deputy Chief Safety Officer, Shri S. S. Narayanan, Principal Chief Engineer, SWR and other Senior Railway Officers.
15 Numbers of different Safety Posters have been brought out by Safety Department of Headquarters of SWR, which will be displayed at all Stations, Crew Booking Offices, Gate Lodges, Field Depot Offices of Engineering, Mechanical, Signal & Telecommunication and Electrical Departments. 
All the Safety Posters contain Safety Rules to be adhered by Railwaymen, during their Working, to Prevent Accidents.  The Safety Magazine “Jagruthi” elaborates and emphasizes Railway Safe Procedures and practices to be followed in day to day working, so as to ensure Safety in Train Operations for Railwaymen.  Latest Railway Board circulars on Safety, G&SR Correction Slips, Monsoon Patrolling, Alumino Thermic Welding, Safe Shunting Procedures, are some of the important subjects available in the Magazine.
