  Station masters' demands

Call to fill vacancies

The divisional unit of the All India Station Masters’ Association (AISMA) has called for redressing staff shortage by filling vacancies and posting of additional station masters at places where the workload is more. The AISMA, which held its 50th annual general body meeting recently, also urged the Railway management to provide better promotional avenues for station masters, according to newly elected AISMA president N. Shanmugasundaram and secretary M. Poovannan. — Special Correspondent
