17 injured as train rams into goods train

Jaipur: Seventeen persons were injured when a train rammed into a
stationary goods train at Marwar-Mundwa station in Rajasthan in wee hours on
Saturday.
The incident occurred at 0214 hrs when the Kota-Hanumangarh holiday special train while approaching the station rammed into a goods train which was stationary at the same track, North Western Railway spokesperson said.
GRP sources said that 17 people were injured in the incident. However, no derailment took place.
The track was cleared in the morning and the train left for its destination at 0940 hrs.
An inquiry has been ordered into the matter, the spokesperson said.
