Asthana takes charge as new GM of SCR

Hyderabad, Nov 10 : G N Asthana, General Manager of West Central Railway took charge as South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager yesterday as per the orders issued by Railway Board.

A SCR press release here today said Mr Asthana belongs to Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), 1975 Batch.

He held several important posts in Indian Railways and has rich experience of working as General Manager of West Central Railway, Additional Member (Mech. Engg), Adviser (Mechanical Engineering), Adviser (Projects), Adviser (Workshops), Executive Director ME (Workshops) and Divisional Railway Manager, Vadodara.
