RAILWAY EMPLOYEE DIES IN ENGINE MISHAP



Mysore, Oct. 19- In a tragic incident, a D Group Railway employee died here on Monday as a meter gauge diesel engine fell on him following derailment while being shifted from the yard to the Museum workshop.
The unfortunate victim of the tragedy has been identified as Ravi Kumar (30), a resident of Kumbarakoppal.
It is reported that the incident took place when Ravi Kumar along with other employees was trying to place the wheel of the derailed engine back on the track resulting in his spot death.
After post-mortem, the body was handed over to his family members. V.V. Puram Police have registered a case.
