Cabinet approved for 78 days bonus today. As the wage ceiling is Rs 3500 per month the one day wage works out to be Rs. 115.06 and therefore the bonus amount will be Rs 8975.

RAILWAY BOARD HAS ISSUED THE ORDER FOR PAYMENT OF BONUS TO RAILWAY EMPLOYEES TO-NIGHT (30-9-2011). PAYMENT HAS TO BE MADE IN CASH. BUT IF THE EMPLOYEE GIVES IN WRITING THE AMOUNT IN FULL OR PART, AS REQUESTED, WILL BE CREDITED IN PF. RBE NO 134/2011 DATED 30-9-2011.

Can't we file a case against misleading the people?
If the minimum salary is 7000, how can the ceiling be below that?
