To,
The Chairman,
Railway Board
Rail Bhawan
New Delhi

Sir,
Ref: RB’s letter No: E (P&A) 1-2010 / RT – 2 (131 / 2010)

I, on the behalf of the Association strongly protest against the discrimination is done against the LP (Driver) on the matter of Liberalized Active Retirement Scheme for guaranteed employment for safety staff (LARSGESS) while determining the criteria of 33 years qualifying service and age in-between 55 – 57 for the LP (Driver) and 20 years qualifying service and age between 50 to 57 years for other safety categories.

Sir, it is welcoming feature that the benefit of this scheme extended to other about 11 categories covering Opt. Dept, Civil, Eng Dept, S&T Dept and Mech. Dept but it is gross injustice and provocative action if two criteria is maintained.

I therefore request your honour to review the order / circular under RB letter No: E (P&A) 1 – 2010 / RT – 2 (131 / 2010) dated: 11.09.2010 and see that same criteria is given to LP (Driver) as it is given for other safety categories i.e. 20 years qualifying service and age group will be 50 – 57 years.

Hoping that necessary steps be taken

Thanking you,

Your’s sincerely
