Japanese honour for Sreedharan
Japan has conferred the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold
and Silver Star on E. Sreedharan, former Managing Director of Delhi
Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and now, its Principal Adviser. The award
was given in Tokyo by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on November 6.
Dr. Sreedharan was also granted an audience with the Emperor. — Special
