Decisions of AILRSA CWC at GZB

DECISIONS OF CWC MEETING OF AILRSA HELD AT GHAZHIABAD ON 23.06.2019 

The CWC meeting of AILRSA held at Ghaziabad on 23.06.2019 has discussed deeply on the prevailing situations arouse after the announcement of the Running Allowance rates, declaration of 100 days ‘ action program of Railways, implementation of past decisions on campaign and preparation for strike and over all position in various zones. Summarising the views of the participants from all the zones meeting took the following decisions. 

PROTEST AGAINST RAILWAY PRIVITISATION

All India Loco Running Staff Association opposes the privatisation measures incorporated in the 100 days Action Plan proposed by the Ministry of Railways with the approval of the Minister for Railways. The Railway Board vide letter dated 18.06.2019 has directed that immediate action to be taken to implement the Action Plan by 31st August 2019.

Railways removes 20-year-old hitch: Smoother travel now on premium trains

The last set of remaining rakes was retrofitted with this solution in South Eastern Railway. Carried out without fanfare, the job took two years at a cost of around Rs 5 lakh per coach. All rakes (trains) have now been covered.
