There is nothing like stealing the issues of IRLRO by AILRSA. All the issues are the issues of Loco Running Staff and not monopoly of any union. Any union including AIRF, NFIR, BMS or IRLRO can take these issues on their own style and succeed over it, and after that claim it as their baby.

CHENNAI: Railways on Wednesday suspended nine women commercial staff who picketed chief commercial manager Ajeet Saxena after barging into his room at Southern Railway headquarters on Tuesday. The women are named in a Government Railway Police FIR.

Train driver injured in stone-pelting

AGRA: Assistant loco-pilot of newly launched special passenger train between Agra Fort to Etah was injured in an incident of stone pelting on Tuesday evening, when the train was crossing Shivwala Tehu.Irked over no halt at Shivwala Tehu which is close to Barhan Junction, the local residents attacked train.

The Government hiked dearness allowance (DA) by 6 per cent, benefiting over 1 crore central government employees and pensioners. The hike, which will cost the exchequer an additional Rs 14,724.74 crore annually, will take effect from January 1, 2016, 

7th CPC notification and struggle ahead

The Central Government Employees are waiting for the implementation of Seventh Pay Commission. As per the reports received, the 7th Pay Commission Pay recommendations may be notified in June after the model code of conduct of states polls which in place is in place till 21st May 2016, which is being considered as cut off point for the notification of pay commission. To be on safer side, Government most likely will release notification regarding the latest pay commission only after 21st May 2016.

Train Came to Halt 50mts from Woman

BENGALURU: Quick thinking by loco pilot (LP) B S Balakrishna Naidu of Prashanti Express, who had applied emergency brakes, brought the train to a halt just 50 metres away from the woman and her infant near the Benniganahalli level crossing. With a sense of huge relief after the hair-raising incident on the tracks, he continued his journey later on.

Unions warn of strike over loco-pilots’ dismissal

An angry mob of the Central Railway Mazdoor Sangh (CRMS) protested outside the railway offices at CST after two long distance drivers running the Latur Express were removed from service. The decision was taken by Central Railway (CR) officials since the train was running at 9 pm and could have collided with a suburban train but the union has threatened that if the decision is not reversed they will be forced to call a strike.
