Trivedi defends his Budget; rues lack of democracy in parties
PTI | 11:04 PM,Apr 16,2012
Mumbai, Apr 16 (PTI) Former Railway Minister and Trinamool Congress MP Dinesh Trivedi today strongly defended the rail budget he had presented last month and over which he had to resign later and said given a chance, he will present the same budget again. "I was absolutely delighted by the budget which I presented. If given a chance, I will present exactly the same budget again. Because I did it with conviction," he said.

Didi, is it time for you to resign and go?

by Sandip Roy Apr 16, 2012
Madam, perhaps it might be time for you to resign and go.
Ruchir Joshi has gone and said what a lot of newspaper pundits were tiptoeing around.
Mamata Banerjee has done what even her most diehard critic didn’t dream she could do writes Joshi in The Telegraph. She has scrunched the Left Front’s 34 years of sins (which she never tires of enumerating) into less than 34 weeks of her own government.

N.M.Miabhoy Tribunal (Railway Labour Tribunal 1969-RLT 1969) was an arrangement of JCM in which workmen (NFIR) and employer (Railways) agrees to go to an arbitrator to solve some issue, hence it is called ARBITRATION. Govt. can implement or modify or deny the award of Arbitrator (No legal binding). Present reference to National Tribunal is ADJUDICATION. If Government decides an issue is having National importance and worth to refer to Adjudicator it can refer the issue to Adjudication even without employers wish. But the Award by Adjudicator is having binding on employer to implement mandatorily. Hence it is a good opportunity for Loco Running men. (Previously in 1947 an Adjudicator(Justice Rajadhyaksha) was appointed to look after HOER for all Railway men).
